HOLY COW...a week ago today was the start of an EPIC weekend. RTX 2015! I was fortunate to be able to attend as a Special Guest. I met and got to visit some amazing Rooster Teeth community members, enjoy some incredible panels and just have a rad time with old and new friends. The weekend of course did not feel the same without such a one of a kind man, Monty Oum, the creator of RWBY and so many other influential pieces of work and such a dear, dear friend. During RTX, Monty was honored and memorialized in such a special way and missed by everyone. I honestly feel that he was in each and everyone of our hearts. And I believe he was there, with us all. He truly was. I feel incredibly grateful to be part of this amazing company and community. On Saturday I was lucky to be interviewed by After Buzz TV with a group of fellow freelancer voice actors from Red Vs. Blue; it was too fun! And the hosts even invited me to crash their RWBY panel later on in the day. The hosts Megan Salinas, Katie Cullen, Mark Donica and Patrick Dees were the absolute best and being in a room full of RWBY fans to discuss RWBY...I really had to control myself before walking in the room, so exciting! You can watch both the interview and the panel below! Througout the weekend I was asked by people to perform some of my favorite 'Nora' and 'C.T.' lines and my heart would just flutter! The feeling I have knowing that other people get excited by the character's I've been playing the past couple of years, it's indescribable. And we cannot forget... THE COSPLAY... NORA... C.T...AAHHHHH!!!!! Best weekend. The end. Recap over. Thanks for stopping by y'all!

HOWDY Y'ALL! Yep, I'm back in the good ole Lonestar state. It is wonderful to be back- seeing friends, being with my family and really soaking up the summer heat. Phew! Gotta get use to it again. A lot has happened in the little time that I've been back. Took some new headshots taken by Light and Shine Photography by Mary Freitag, absolutely wonderful experience! Mary was such a dream to work with! She knew exactly how to bring me out of my self deprecating shell and I am truly grateful and beyond thrilled to share some new shots in the near future. Also had my first meeting with my director and fellow cast with Bottle Alley Theatre Company for an upcoming production of a new play, "Cloud Formations". Everyone was lovely and I am really looking forward to jumping back into theatre. More news to come! With auditions, booking a callback tonight and classes starting to pick up I feel I need to take a deep breath and relax and then I remember... RTX IS TOMORROW! AHHHH!!! "It's the most wonderful time of the year". Meeting fellow RT community members and fans, networking, marveling at incredible exhibitors and spending time with amazing and talented people. Can't contain the excitement! Thanks for stopping by y'all! Light and Shine Photography by Mary Freitag
